Enlistment of companies Certificate is a Sikkim Government–authorized platform under the Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department at Tashiling Secretariat. The Government of Sikkim is committed to delivering reliable, transparent, and accessible legal services.
As the name suggests, the platform specializes in the enlistment of companies and the issuance of Enlistment Certificates in accordance with the Companies Act, 1956 and the Companies Act, 2013.

The Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department was established in 1977 under the Government of Sikkim during the tenure of Shri Kazi Lendup Dorjee. Since its inception, the Department has been entrusted with the drafting, scrutiny, and publication of laws, rules, and notifications in the Official Gazette, ensuring transparency and adherence to legal standards.
The Department has played a crucial role in strengthening access to justice through the organization of Lok Adalats and the functioning of specialized courts. It also actively preserves and safeguards the customary laws of indigenous communities in accordance with Article 371(F) of the Constitution of India.
Under the provisions of the Commission of Enquiry Act, 1952, several Commissions have been constituted to examine important governance-related matters. These include enquiries into the issuance of Trade Licenses to unauthorized persons, investigations involving forged or fake Sikkim Subject Certificates, Certificates of Identification (COIs), and Domicile Certificates. Other Commissions have addressed issues related to local employment, hydroelectric project accidents, financial deposit losses, and land transfers, thereby reinforcing accountability and upholding the rule of law across the State.
